Juha Eskola N1
Inspired by traditional watchmaking and the night sky. |
Hand Finished Movement.
The N1 is driven by a hand-finished Cal. 109. Different finishes were carefully selected to accentuate different parts of the movement. The rugged hand-hammered bridge is contrasted by the polished bevels and countersinks. As a final touch, the screw heads are black polished and the balance cock screw is heat-treated to a perfect blue color. Mischief managed indeed.
Jewellery
Since the first precious metal class at the Finnish Watchmaking school, I have loved making jewellery. I embrace every step of the creative process, from the first sketch to the finished piece. My jewellery is often inspired by timeless design and the Finnish nature. And sometimes by Harry Potter or EVH. A unique hand-made piece of jewellery is an investment that will accompany you during the most memorable moments in your life.

Watchmaker
I applied to the Finnish School of Watchmaking with only one goal in mind: to become an independent watchmaker. I once said that my dream would be a watchmaking atelier in the Swiss mountains. Later, however, that dream changed slightly, and my watches will proudly carry the FINN MADE label. Too bad there are no mountains in Finland.
